“The Emperor of Atlantis” in the totally sold out Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam

Earlier this month, Pedro Halffter presented along with some excellent musicians from the Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam (Camerata RCO) Victor Ullmann’s “The Emperor of Atlantis” (chamber music version) in Amsterdam. 40 years after the premiere of the opera in the Bellevue Theatre in Amsterdam, the work has not lost his presence. The Dutch press and the audience were more than impressed.
