Big applause for the premiere of ” The Emperor of Atlantis ” at the Teatro Real

Last friday (June 10, 2016), Pedro Halffter conducted the acclaimed premiere of “The Emperor of Atlantis” at the Teatro Real in Madrid.

Pedro Halffter himself had re- orchestrated and revised the work of Viktor Ullmann. His version was now performed at the Teatro Real as a co-production of the three major opera houses in Spain (Teatro Real Madrid, Teatro de la Maestranza of Seville and Palau de Les Arts of Valencia).
